Tips to Get the Most Out of Your MyCelsius Cooling Bracelet

Your MyCelsius Cooling Bracelet is designed to give you on-demand, targeted cooling whenever sudden heat strikes. Here are our favourite, tried-and-true tips to make sure you get the best experience.

1. Wear it where it works best

Position the bracelet just below your wrist bone and tighten it so it’s snug but not tight. If the strap covers any air inlets/outlets, re-fit it or choose a different strap size. The cooling plate should sit on the underside of your wrist for the best effect.

2. Choose your cooling level

Start with the default cooling session (press and hold the blue button for 1 second). Want more? Double-tap for Boost mode. Prefer warmth sometimes? The red button works the same way.

3. Use Night Mode… even in the day

Night Mode provides up to 8 hours of gentle, recurring cooling — 5 seconds on, every 15 seconds. Perfect for steady comfort while you sleep, but also great in the day if you want a background effect. Need extra relief? Simply start a normal or Boost session — once it ends, your bracelet will return to Night Mode automatically.

4. Try your other wrist

One wrist is often more sensitive to temperature than the other. If the sensation feels milder than you expect, switch wrists and see if it works better.

5. Give your body a little time

Some people notice the benefits instantly; others need a few days of regular use. Give it up to a week to learn your body’s rhythm.

6. Keep it charged and ready

A full charge takes about 1–1.5 hours and provides roughly 20 cooling sessions. After charging, let the bracelet rest for 15 minutes before wearing so the case can fully cool.

Quick battery check:

  • Green light: ≥25% battery
  • Yellow light: <25% battery
  • Red light: needs charging

7. Look after your strap and plate

  • Straps: Hand-wash fabric straps in warm soapy water, then air-dry. Do not machine dry. Avoid twisting or bending silicone straps.
  • Cooling plate: Wipe with a soft dry cloth or a standard alcohol wipe. Do not soak, spray, or submerge the bracelet.

If it accidentally gets wet, place it somewhere warm and dry with the air inlets facing down and wait at least 24 hours before using again.

8. Pair with simple cooling habits

Your bracelet works best as part of your comfort routine. Stay hydrated, wear breathable fabrics, and take short breaks when you can. Small habits make a big difference.

Quick safety & care reminders

  • Keep the airflow clear — don’t block the vents with sleeves or straps.
  • Wear only on the wrist (for adults 18+).
  • Not waterproof — avoid submersion or heavy exposure to water.
  • Contains magnets — if you have a pacemaker or similar medical implant, consult your doctor before use.
